Coaching and volunteering
Coaches and volunteers are the backbone of community sport in Medway. Medway Council’s Sports Development Team runs development programmes for coaches and volunteers.
It also helps identify opportunities for coaches and volunteers to get involved in sport, and supports the delivery of sport in Medway.

Youth sports leadership
Medway runs a nationally-recognised sports leadership programme for secondary school students and pupils with moderate learning difficulties.
Coach development
Training courses and development grants are available to Medway's sports clubs to help develop their coaches.
